adequate stay with some concerns

poor cleaning small tv

the location suited my needs well enough.

The room cleaning was sub-par. I discovered hairs that clearly were not mine. upon reporting this issue to the manager, he deflected responsibility by stating it was outside his purview and suggested i speak directly with the cleaner. the tv in the room was also small.

the owner was very friendly and helpful indeed! he. breakfast included home-cooked meals, a nice touch. the location was very convenient for getting around, so it was easy to explore.

The tv in the room was rather small. I ended up using my ipad instead.

a satisfactory stay

helpful manager different room fewer stairs dated room small telly standard cleaning

the owner was friendly. he helped me a lot when he saw the stairs were a bit of a struggle for me. he put me in a different room than the one he originally allocated. i did not have to climb so many stairs.

the room was quite dated. the flat screen telly was the size of a postage stamp. the cleaning was not up to standard, i found hairs in the room that weren't mine. the manager told me it wasn't his department.

The B&B gave me a street parking permit. It cost a nominal sum, I remember. Breakfast offered many great options to select.

Breakfast was good at the hotel.

I had no hot water on two evenings. So, I could not take a hot shower, and there was no hot water the morning I left too. The owner said he was trying to save money!

clean room comfortable bed quiet location

the room was nice and neat. i had a pleasant view of the local cricket ground from my window. the beds were comfortable. i also appreciated the quiet location (it was indeed very peaceful).

the room felt a bit dated, it could use some modernization to enhance the overall experience.
